Mr Brown graduated from the University of Melbourne and completed his orthopaedic training in 1994. Further experience was gained with a Fellowship in Joint Replacement surgery in Exeter, UK and Knee, Shoulder and Sports Orthopaedic surgery at The Orthopaedic Sports Hospital, Salt Lake City, USA.

I am a fully qualified Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon based in Melbourne, Australia. I routinely look after general plastic surgery conditions from skin cancer surgery, to general hand and trauma surgery. I have a keen special interest in reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery, and have a heavy involvement in looking after both breast cancer patients as well as cosmetic patients in that area.

Dr Shi Choo is a Nephrologist and General Physician who trained at Monash Health and Barwon Health. He currently holds public consultant positions at Barwon Health in Nephrology and General Medicine.

He is interested in all areas of Nephrology from early chronic kidney disease to end-stage kidney disease and renal replacement therapy. He also enjoys managing general medical patients with complex diagnostic or management challenges.

Dr Choy graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2006 and completed his training in Respiratory and Sleep medicine through the Barwon, Peninsula and Melbourne Health networks.

His clinical interests range from wide variety of sleep disorders with particular interest in complex respiratory sleep disorders and obstructive sleep apnoea. Dr Choy is also active in research and education as evident by his contribution as an author in a book chapter for sleep medicine, presenting his research projects at conferences and involving in regular education sessions with general practitioners.

Tim is an ear, nose, throat, head and neck surgeon who lives on the Surf Coast with his young family. He studied in Victoria and has completed advanced post fellowship training in America.

He is highly experienced in head and neck cancer, thyroid and salivary conditions, robotic surgery, nasal and sinus surgery. He also enjoys general and paediatric ENT. He is committed to multidisciplinary care via his public hospital appointments at Geelong and Royal Melbourne Hospitals.

He looks forward to providing a timely, caring and compassionate ENT service to his patients and referring GPs.

Dr Damien Daniel is a Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist who has sub-specialised in the management of persistent pain conditions. He has extensive training and experience in pain medicine, both during his registrar training and as a specialist. Damien graduated from the University of Queensland School of Medicine in 2003 and completed his Rehabilitation Medicine specialist training in 2014. He has recently relocated from Queensland with his young family to join the Pain Matrix team.

Most recently he was the Clinical Director of Rehabilitation Services at St Vincent's Private Hospital in Toowoomba, where he successfully established the first private inpatient rehabilitation service on the Darling Downs. He was also a Medical Co-Director of the Brisbane Pain Rehabilitation Service and staff specialist at the Metro South Persistent Pain Service in Brisbane, as well as a senior lecturer and examiner at the University of Queensland's School of Medicine.

Originally training in anaesthetics, Damien himself suffered a severe orthopaedic multi-trauma in 2008. Some 40 surgeries and 15 months of rehabilitation later he returned to work as a doctor. Inspired by his experience as a patient, he chose to train in rehabilitation medicine. In addition to a great passion for working in multidisciplinary teams to help people achieve their rehabilitation goals, Damien really has "walked" in his patient's shoes. He likes to share this experience and understanding with his patients and their families, to inspire them to a life of greater knowledge, function, Independence and productivity.

Dr Mehrnoosh (Nu) Dastaran practices the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery including management of impacted teeth; surgical extraction of wisdom teeth; dental implantology; corrective jaw surgery and craniofacial trauma.

She also works as a Specialist at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne. She has completed a Master of Philosophy by Research in the field of Implantology at the University of Melbourne Dental School.

Her technical ability is complemented by her holistic and empathetic approach to patient care. She works closely with dentists and other specialists to provide the best possible tailored treatment options.

Michael graduated from Melbourne University in 2000 and completed his physician training, specialising in Nephrology, in 2007. He completed a PhD at Melbourne University studying the mechanisms of proteinuria.

He has held consultant positions at Austin Health in Nephrology and Mercy Health in Obstetric Medicine before moving to Geelong with his young family in 2010. He practises in all areas of Nephrology from mild chronic kidney disease through to end-stage kidney disease and all modalities of dialysis and renal transplantation. He works in the field of General Medicine in both the public and private system and is actively involved in teaching medical students from the Deakin University School of Medicine.

Mr Rana Dhillon completed his medical and postgraduate degrees at the Universities of Melbourne and Cambridge. He then completed his neurosurgical training in Australia, before undertaking additional fellowship years in Melbourne and Cambridge in minimally invasive spine, skull base and pituitary surgery.

He has a subspecialty focus on pituitary tumours, trigeminal neuralgia and cervical spine pathology. His research on cellular mechanisms underlying recovery from cervical myelopathy was performed at the Anne Mclaren Laboratory of Regenerative Medicine and was made possible by RACS and NSA scholarships.
