About
Dr Jaworski is a consultant Cardiologist with dual subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology and NonInvasive Cardiac Imaging. She graduated from Monash University in 2004 with honours in both MBBS and BioMedSc. She completed her basic and advanced training in Cardiology at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, gaining fellowship of RACP in 2012. Following this she undertook an advanced multimodal imaging Fellowship focusing on cardiac MRI, cardiac CT and echocardiography at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne.
She spent 2013 and 2014 working in the UK where she was selected as the Interventional Fellow at Papworth Hospital in Cambridge, the largest specialist heart hospital in the United Kingdom. During this high volume fellowship, she practiced at the cutting edge of complex Interventional Cardiology. She enjoys ongoing participation in clinical research and has published a number of papers in the highest impact cardiology journals. Cathy is passionate about the care of her patients and is interested in all aspects of clinical cardiology. She has a particular focus on coronary intervention and the treatment of angina.
